What will I learn?

This course is designed for both aspiring managers and people currently employed in business or management. The program will provide you with the understanding, knowledge and skills necessary to explain and discuss essential principles and practices of business. These are delivered through the core subjects in business and management. The core curriculum develops your understanding and ability to interpret financial statements and marketing plans, analyse markets, read audit reports and develop business plans. Knowing how to read financial statements is important during the evaluation of a vendor's financial standing. Knowing how to interpret marketing plans and conduct a market analyse will help you identify a vendor's strengths and overall strategies. On completion of the Holmes’ Graduate Diploma in Business you will have developed a broad business mindset. The Graduate Diploma in Business is a one-year course, delivered over two trimesters on a full-time basis. To meet the requirements for graduation, all students must successfully complete 8 units.

Entry requirements

For international students

An Australian bachelors degree or equivalent, or

An Australian Graduate Certificate, or

Advanced Diploma, associate degree, or equivalent including overseas associate degree, plus evidence of a minimum of five years of demonstrable relevant industry experience.
