This exciting field of study is much more than the simple preservation of existing buildings. Instead, by engaging with history, your role is to provide value to building owners, visitors and cultural bodies, all of which have a shared interest in understanding, adapting and preserving our heritage.Graduates from architectural, urban planning, archaeological, historical, engineering or related backgrounds, or the Bachelor of Architecture and Environments, can develop their specialist conservation and adaptive reuse skills through this course. Our building houses the only indoor environmental quality (IEQ) laboratory in the southern hemisphere, an extensive research lighting laboratory and outstanding audio and acoustics facilities, including an anechoic chamber and recording studio.
