The sustainability of our urban and regional centres relies on leaders who can bring communities together to work toward solutions to the challenges they face. In doing so, they must be able to navigate legislative, administrative and political frameworks responsibly.
In this course, you will explore environmental, economic and social challenges that are impacting communities, and gain an understanding of planning laws and applications. You’ll then apply your learnings to develop ethical and sustainable solutions, with the support of several industry partners.
Accredited by the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA), this postgraduate degree is designed for professionals who hold a degree in an area related to the built environment (such as architecture, landscape architecture or geography) who wish to work as a planner.
