What will I learn?

This course combines two master’s degrees in business and law to give legal professionals executive business skills. By completing the Master of Business Administration in the first year and the Master of Laws in the second, you’ll further your professional knowledge in law while gaining leadership and management skills to meet the challenges of a dynamic workplace.Our MBA Full Time Intensive gives you outstanding preparation for getting the job you want. The Master of Laws provides an opportunity for lawyers to extend their existing knowledge and skills. The course includes a personalised Leadership Development Program developed by a world-class Leadership School and one-on-one mentoring. You'll also receive careers coaching and work on a Strategic Analysis and Consulting Project for a partner organisation. You can also enjoy masterclasses with senior executives and managers from top ASX companies and government departments, and direct contact with Business School Board Members. The Master of Laws (LLM) provides a range of subjects for law graduates to choose from and you can specialise or choose a variety of subjects to broaden your legal expertise. The LLM offers units such as: international commercial arbitration family law property law and employment law.

Entry requirements

For international students

To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must have—(a) a Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent qualification, as recognised by UWA;and(b) the equivalent of a UWA weighted average mark of at least 60 per cent;and(c) at least three years professional experience in a relevant occupation.
