What will I learn?

A joint degree with Tokyo City University TCU Japan this course will prepare students to explore global environmental problems and initiatives to contribute to a sustainable societyStudents enrolling in this course will be required to complete one semester of study on location at TCU They will also have the option of completing a 2week internship in Japan during their course In the final semester students will complete researchbased units with TCU remotely from ECU and supported by ECU staffCourse learning outcomesReflect critically on a complex body of specialist knowledge and understanding of recent developments and methods applicable to the field of Environmental Science and related disciplinesApply cognitive technical and creative skills drawn from a broad discipline base to investigate analyse and synthesise complex ideas concepts and theories in Environmental ScienceApply communication skills to design innovative contributions to professional practice in Environmental ScienceUse high level self management skills to initiate plan and execute a substantial project in Environmental Science
