International applicants applying to undergraduate programs at Macquarie need to have completed at least one of the following academic qualifications:
Applicants will usually need a bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution considered equivalent to an Australian bachelor's degree, which roughly amounts to Level 7 on the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
Some courses also require applicants to have previous study or work experience in a related area, a higher-level qualification such as an Honours Bachelor (AQF Level 8), or a specific Weight Average Mark (WAM) requirement.
As part of the required English proficiency, most postgraduate courses require English competency equivalent to an overall IELTS Academic of 6.5.
