What will I learn?

The Master of Project Management is a postgraduate degree consisting of 144 credit points and is normally completed in 1.5 years of full-time study or the equivalent part-time study. Admission requirements include a completed recognised bachelor degree in project management or related discipline or a completed recognised bachelor degree in any other discipline and six months full-time (or equivalent) professional project management work experience. Upon graduating, you will have the necessary expertise to take on managerial roles in projects of your chosen field or industry. You will have acquired professional experience which will enable you to manage project goals within constraints, and contribute to strategic decision making through understanding a range of specialty areas relevant to project management.

Entry requirements

For international students

You must have:A completed recognised graduate diploma (or higher) in built environment, business, engineering, or project management; orA completed recognised 4-year bachelors degree in built environment or engineering; orA completed recognised bachelors degree (or higher) in any discipline plus a completed recognised graduate certificate in built environment, business, engineering, or project management; orA completed recognised graduate diploma (or higher) in any discipline followed by at least 6 months full-time (or equivalent) professional project management work experience; orA completed recognised Australian bachelor honours degree (or higher) in built environment, business, engineering, or project management; orA completed recognised Australian bachelor honours degree (or higher) in any discipline followed by at least 6 months full-time (or equivalent) professional project management work experience.Successful completion of QUT's on-campus Graduate Certificate in Project Management or online Graduate Certificate in Project Management course.
