This is an advanced practice- and research-led degree that delves into a transdisciplinary mix of specialist areas – including leadership for systems change, economics for sustainability, climate resilience, circular economy, sustainable development, and net-zero cities and regenerative urban design.
During the course, you will build your competence in strategic and systems thinking through analysing international perspectives on policy and practice, while developing their ability to learn and work collaboratively with others towards change.
You will learn to read social, cultural, and ecological systems, interpret complex evidence, and apply place-based approaches. Drawing on these insights, you will be able to design policies and social innovations that shift governance practices, resource flows and urban environments towards justice, sustainability and climate resilience.
You will also be able to expand your professional networks and career pathways in sustainability leadership, through our interdisciplinary cohort of teachers and mentors.
