What will I learn?

This course is designed for engineers with a background in civil engineering looking to upskill or be introduced to the field of sustainable infrastructure. Develop important data analytics skills that will provide value to future employers and help you get ahead with your career. The data analytics component of your degree will teach you to turn data into insight and intelligence to drive change and make key decisions. Complete an industry project to apply the skills and knowledge developed in your specialist study area. Develop an engineering solution to address an industry problem through the application of engineering theories, tools, and techniques. You will gain experience in culturally responsible professional engineering practice and exercise leadership in a team in a complex and changing environment.You will also undertake a supervised research project over two semesters where you will manage and explain your findings and what they contribute to your field. Upon graduating, you will be able to lead and contribute to complex infrastructure projects while applying a sustainability lens. You will learn to respond to challenges which impact infrastructure projects, such as impact of climate change, pollution, rapid urbanisation and rapid technological change.
