About this course

What will I learn?

The Department of Political Science offers a wide range of undergraduate programs that are designed for motivated students who wish to excel. Graduates of these programs go on to pursue careers in many fields, which may include but are not limited to: business, government, public policy, international affairs, and law. Students who complete our honours programs are well prepared for post-graduate study.Completion of first-year requirements with no failures. Students must have an average of at least 70% in 3.0 principal courses, including Political Science 1020E plus 2.0 additional courses, with no mark in these principal courses below 60%.

Entry requirements

For international students

A minimum average of B grade in 3 distinct A-Levels or 4 distinct AS-Levels. Predicted Results - You must complete the GCE A Level Predicted Results Form. A minimum of a C grade in 5 GCSE or IGCSE or Ordinary Levels or equivalent in academic subjects. A minimum of 4.0 full senior academic courses reported on your academic transcript. A minimum SAT combined Evidence-Based Reading and Writing plus Math score of 1190 OR a minimum ACT composite score of 24. The score reports must be official and come to the Admissions Office directly from the College Board or ACT.
