Our Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Educational Studies with a specialization in Adult Learning with Technology develops expertise in adult education and specialized competencies for both formal and informal educational spaces. This specialization provides a foundation for success in careers such as human resources, workplace education, college instruction and instructional design.Our four-year Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Educational Studies is an innovative hybrid program (online and in-person courses) designed to provide maximum flexibility and choice. You will develop critical knowledge and skills in educational studies, including foundations of learning, creating digital tools for education, assessment for learning and foundations of equity, diversity and inclusion. Online courses from the Faculty of Education are supplemented with in-person or online electives from other faculties to create a custom program that will enable you to achieve your academic goals. This specialization in Adult Learning with Technology is a research-based and industry-responsive specialization that develops the understanding and skills to work in learning and development in various fields such as business, government and non-profit organizations. Students will learn to develop inclusive spaces for adult learning, with a focus on the meaningful use of digital technologies for education.OutcomesAfter completing the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Educational Studies with a specialization in Adult Learning with Technology, you will be prepared to: Facilitate education for adults in various learning spaces, including the corporate workplace, non-profit organizations, government and higher education. Entry requirements

For international students

Applicants will hold an undergraduate degree from a recognized university, with a minimum required average of 70 per cent (B- or 2.7 GPA) in their best 10 full-year or best 20 half-year completed courses. Preference will be given to students with four-year honours degrees. Each candidate must have received the required undergraduate degree by July 1 of the year in which they begin their Bachelor of Education program.Applicants must have completed a minimum of five full-year courses, or 10 one-semester courses in a first teachable subject and three full courses, or six one-semester courses in a second teachable subject. A minimum of 70 per cent (B- or 2.7 GPA) average is required in each teachable subject.A complete application includes:TranscriptsEvidence of oral and written proficiency in English.A clear criminal record check is a post-admission requirement for all successful applicants.
