What will I learn?

Our business programs combine the acquisition of conceptual knowledge with applied and experiential learning approaches that include work terms, projects, presentations, simulations, field trips, class discussions, case analyses, lectures, readings, films, guest speakers, service learning, and much more. The Gerald Schwartz School of Business offers BBA majors, advanced majors and honours streams in Accounting, Finance, Management, Entrepreneurship, International Business, Marketing and Enterprise Systems. A minor in Sport Management is also available to BBA students.Students in the BBA program enjoy hands-on, immersive learning opportunities in one of Canada’s finest undergraduate business programs. Our programming emphasizes experiential learning and is delivered by faculty whose research is relevant to practicing managers, and who are recognized as engaging, effective teachers. A StFX BBA puts you on the fast-track to a fulfilling career in your chosen field of study.

Entry requirements

For international students

Applicant must have English, math and three other university preparatory courses in grade 12. For high school students, the minimum admission requirements include an overall average of 70% in Grade 12, with no grade below 65%, in each of the required subjects. Admissions to limited enrolment programs is competitive, meeting the minimum average does not guarantee admission. Please note, students who are currently in grade 12, applying for early admission, must have the program requirements in grade 11, and be registered in the program prerequisites in grade 12, to be eligible for an early offer. Otherwise, offers will be made after receipt of final first term grade 12 transcript.
