What will I learn?

Western Computer Science offers you the opportunity to tailor your degree to your interests and to work with faculty who are involved in exciting research, all while attending one of the most beautiful campuses in Canada and enjoying Canada's best student experience. Undergraduate students can take advantage of the Industry Internship, spending 8 to 16 months working for an IT company between the third and fourth years of their degree. Internship placements often lead to full-time employment upon graduation, with companies like Microsoft and IBM.Along with the typical Honors Specialization, Majors, and Minors in Computer Science, we also offer several concurrent degree programs that can be completed in 1 year less than taking each degree separately. Currently, the concurrent degrees we offer are:HBA from Ivey combined with a Computer Science DegreeBESc from Western Engineering combined with a Computer Science DegreeBachelor of Music from the Don Wright Faculty of Music with a Computer Science DegreeNursing Degree from Western with a Computer Science Degree

Entry requirements

For international students

A minimum average of B grade in 3 distinct A-Levels or 4 distinct AS-Levels. Predicted Results - You must complete the GCE A Level Predicted Results Form.A minimum of a C grade in 5 GCSE or IGCSE or Ordinary Levels or equivalent in academic subjects.A minimum of 4.0 full senior academic courses reported on your academic transcript.A minimum SAT combined Evidence-Based Reading and Writing plus Math score of 1190 OR a minimum ACT composite score of 24.The score reports must be official and come to the Admissions Office directly from the College Board or ACT.International Baccalaureate - Youll need - A complete IB Diploma including.Theory of Knowledge and Extended Essay.Passes in at least six subjects three at Higher Level.A minimum total grade of 27 including the Extended Essay and TOK.No mark less than 4 on any course.Required courses for your program.
