What will I learn?

The one-year Certificate in Academic Foundations for Potential HIM Applicants offers 10 university-transferable credit courses that transfer into the BSc HIM degree.

Entry requirements

For international students

High school graduation from BC or another equivalent school system; with a minimum overall average of 60% (or equivalent) in their final year of high school.

Nineteen (19) years of age or older by the end of the first month of the first semester of attendance.

Seventeen (17) years of age on the first day of the first semester of attendance, and has not been enrolled at a school for a minimum of one year.

English 12 or English Studies 12 or English First Peoples 12 with a minimum grade of B (or acceptable substitution*)

Biology 11 or 12 or Life Sciences 11 or Anatomy and Physiology 12 with a minimum grade of B (or acceptable substitution*)

Foundations of Math 11 or 12 with a minimum grade of B (or acceptable substituion*)

*There may be different IELTS requirements depending on your chosen course.
