What will I learn?

Graduates of the integrated technician-apprenticeship program receive credit towards the in-school portion of an Industrial Electrician (442A) apprenticeship. If participating in the co-op option, you may also gain on-the-job apprenticeship hours.Exemptions from apprenticeship in-school training will be evaluated on an individual basis in order to be considered, students will need to achieve a minimum 60% in each of the core coursesCompletion of this program also allows apprentices to be exempted from portions of the in-­school training for the Electrician Construction and Maintenance - 309A Apprenticeship program.What you'll learnTrain for careers in light and heavy manufacturing industries.Technical skills and knowledge of electricity and electrical circuits.Knowledge to install, repair, calibrate and maintain instruments or devices in the operation of electrical motors, generators and distribution equipment.Knowledge to install, repair, calibrate and maintain instruments or devices in the operation of automation and instrumentation equipment.
