What will I learn?

Currently, best practice suggests that screening for concurrent disorders is a priority for anyone presenting with addiction or mental health concerns. This is the focus for human service organizations, not the exception. Most promising practices in social and health service agencies include integrated treatment approaches based on a person-centred model of wellness and health. Stakeholders, locally and provincially acknowledge the need for employees with an understanding of people who live with concurrent disorders.Program HighlightsBuilding on your previous academic work, you will incorporate specialized knowledge and skills to provide support to individuals with concurrent mental health and substance use issues.
