What will I learn?

The School of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) offers clinical programs specializing in areas related to audiology and speech-language pathology. The Master of Clinical Sciences (MCISc) degree in audiology and speech-language pathology are awarded upon successful completion of a two-year curriculum, over six consecutive terms, which includes classroom/laboratory work and clinical placement experiences.Program Length6 Terms

Four-year undergraduate degree from an accredited universityBefore applying or accepting an offer of admission to the School of CSD prospective students should be aware of the followingThe Audiology and SpeechLanguage Pathology programs are twoyear 6 term fulltime inperson programsStudents must obtain and complete all mandatory immunizations vaccinations medical and nonmedical requirements specified by Western University the School of CSD and other clinical facilitiesStudents must obtain pay for and submit documentation of a police Vulnerable Sector Screening VSS as required by clinical placement facilitiesStudents are encouraged to have a strong foundation in math anatomy and physiology and science prior to applying to the Audiology and SpeechLanguage Pathology programsStudents must attend and pay for all costs associated with the clinical placements assigned to them Placements may not be in a students hometown andor home province.
