What will I learn?

The LLB (Graduate Entry) is a two-year, full-time programme (level 8, NQAI) that provides a legal education for graduates in disciplines other than law. The programme is ideally suited to graduates who wish to supplement their primary studies with a legal education or to graduates who are seeking a career change. The programme is also available to graduates who have studied law in a country where the legal system is not a common law system, i.e. the dominant system in countries including Ireland, England and Wales, Australia, and the United States of America. It may be possible to gain exemptions for Year 1 of the programme if the core law modules covered in Year 1 have been covered in the applicant’s primary degree. This would result in the applicant being accepted into Year 2 of the programme. Decisions are based on a case-by-case basis by the Course Director. The LLB (Graduate Entry) programme is a two year full-time programme specifically designed to provide a legal education to graduates in disciplines other than law.
