The Professional Master in Education (MGO) is a full-time, two-year master's program in initial teacher education through the medium of Irish, which prepares subject teachers for the full-Irish post-primary sector. Graduates of the program are very popular and are employed in Gaelcholáist and Gaeltacht post-primary schools throughout the country and in schools around the world. It has been recognized by the Teaching Council as a suitable program for the purposes of registration as a post-primary teacher in Ireland and the EU
