What will I learn?

This course offers medical students and graduates an in-depth understanding of research in a variety of areas such as biomedical science, public health, clinical medicine and medical education. You can choose from an array of research streams and match your interest to the respective projects.You’ll be embedded in a research setting with renowned researchers, and exposed to various technologies and research methodologies from a wide range of clinical and laboratory settings. Throughout the course, you’ll learn skills relating to data analysis and the communication of scientific ideas in oral presentations and a written thesis.

Entry requirements

For international students

The BMedSc (Hons) program at Monash University Malaysia is currently open for enrolment to eligible medical graduates who have successfully completed the undergraduate medical program at Monash University. Applications from medical graduates of other universities will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Additionally, all applicants must fulfil Monash Universitys English language requirements. As part of the process, you must complete a research project synopsis and research outline, which can be found on the Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours) application form. Applications are also required to identify a suitable supervisor from the Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
