What will I learn?

Our Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science programme is designed to support and challenge graduate students who are passionate about computing to develop a deep understanding of algorithmic foundations and engage in rigorous scientific research. This PhD programme builds a strong foundation in core computer science principles, while enabling exploration of advanced topics such as algorithms, data structures, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and more. Entry requirements

For international students

A Masters degree (Level 7, MQF) in the field of Computing or related fields as accepted by the HEP Senate; ORA Masters degree (Level 7, MQF) in non-Computing fields with a minimum of FIVE (5) years of working experience in the field of computing or related fields must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses as determined by the HEP; ORA Masters degree (Level 7, MQF) in non-Computing fields with less than FIVE (5) years of working experience in the field of computing or related fields must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses as determined by the HEP and subject to rigorous internal assessment; OROther qualifications equivalent to a Masters degree in the field of Computing or related fields recognised by the Government of Malaysia must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses as determined by the HEP.
