About this course

What will I learn?

The Engineering Foundation Year is a one-year pre-university programme that provides a strong grounding in the principles of modern engineering. The programme is designed to prepare students for progression into undergraduate engineering courses at the University of Southampton Malaysia, covering a range of engineering disciplines. Upon successful completion, students continue into programmes aligned with UK academic standards and curriculum.

Entry requirements

For international students

IGCSE: AABBB in the Science stream, with Mathematics and Physics at A. The other three subjects must be at B or higher (excluding Moral Studies and Religious Studies). SPM: AABBB in the Science stream, with Mathematics and Physics at A. Additional Mathematics at B or higher and the other two subjects must be at B or higher (excluding Moral Studies and Religious Studies).
