Clinical psychologists use their knowledge of psychology and mental health for the assessment, diagnosis, formulation, treatment and prevention of psychological problems and mental illness across the lifespan. The Master of Clinical Psychology prepares you for work as a clinical psychologist, offering coursework that will develop your knowledge and skills in psychology and mental health. You will be equipped to work with clients, assessing, diagnosing, formulating, treating, and preventing psychological problems and mental illnesses across their lifespan. You will gain generalised and specialised clinical skills to manage complex mental health problems, that are culturally responsive, in order to help people thrive.This course includes four placements supervised by experienced clinical psychologists, as well as a clinical research project that has the scope to positively impact the community under the guidance of experienced academics.
