What will I learn?

Study the Bachelor of Arts in Global Tourism at AUT. If you’re interested in global issues in tourism, the Bachelor of Arts in Global Tourism will help you understand how tourism enriches the wellbeing of the communities it engages with and protects the natural environment it relies on. This degree focuses on creativity and innovation in tourism, and how to create a more ethical and sustainable tourism industry. This major looks at tourism from a global perspective. Courses cover a wide range of topics including tourism and sustainability, current issues the tourism industry faces, innovation and entrepreneurship, and how to create more sustainable destinations.

Entry requirements

For international students

University Entrance or equivalent. Higher School Certificate Apply if you have: A grade of C or higher in each of three subjects of the New Zealand University Entrance, Bursaries and Scholarships (NZUEBS) examinations; or A combination of NZUEBS A, B or C grades and have completed equivalent subjects registered on the National Qualifications Framework; or At least 13 credits at Level 3 from the National Qualifications Framework in each of 3 approved subjects from the approved list You must have achieved the IB Diploma (24 points)
