What will I learn?

With the Bachelor of Arts in Māori Media you gain insight into the fast-paced media industry, as well as a sound understanding of te reo me ngā tikanga Māori. A strong foundation in te reo Māori and basic tikanga is highly valued in the field of Māori media – regardless of ethnicity. In this programme you’ll learn to apply a Māori world view to the media and could build web applications, make films or design interactive multimedia from a bicultural perspective.

Entry requirements

For international students

University Entrance or equivalent. Higher School Certificate Apply if you have: A grade of C or higher in each of three subjects of the New Zealand University Entrance, Bursaries and Scholarships (NZUEBS) examinations; or A combination of NZUEBS A, B or C grades and have completed equivalent subjects registered on the National Qualifications Framework; or At least 13 credits at Level 3 from the National Qualifications Framework in each of 3 approved subjects from the approved list You must have achieved the IB Diploma (24 points)
