What will I learn?

The Graduate Diploma will also prepare you to study that subject at postgraduate level, such as the Bachelor of Arts with Honours or the Master of Arts. The GDipArts can be completed in two trimesters when studied full time, or in up to four years if you're studying part time. You don't need to have a Bachelor of Arts to complete a GDipArts-graduates with any undergraduate degree can enrol.Examine the political motivations at the heart of the world's current events. Explore a wide range of issues including questions of war and peace, human rights, globalisation and the distribution of wealth and poverty around the world, and the efforts of transnational groups to promote change. You’ll also learn about the histories, theories and philosophies behind the political systems of different nations, from democracies to dictatorships and look at power and policies in specific areas of the world like Japan or Europe.

Entry requirements

For international students

You need a Bachelors degree with at least a B average unless stated otherwise in the programmes minimum general entry requirements. A background in a particular subject area or extensive relevant work experience may be required. Students with equivalent international qualifications from a recognised institution are encouraged to apply. Each application is assessed individually, and entry into postgraduate programmes is at the discretion of the programme director.
