What will I learn?

This flexible diploma is a way for you to take Arts courses if you have already completed a degree, and a useful pathway to postgraduate study. If you already have a degree and want to take Arts courses, this flexible diploma might just be for you. You could use the diploma to qualify for postgraduate study by taking courses in the subject of your choice at intermediate and advanced undergraduate level. It is also a way that you can study a specific subject to complement your existing qualifications and further your personal or professional development. You can supplement your undergraduate degree with the courses you need to follow a specific career path or enhance your professional development. If you’re looking to step up into one of our postgraduate programmes, the graduate diploma is a useful way for you to get there.You can take a major in Psychology as one of your two BA majors (a double major). You will need to pass at least 120 points (eight courses) towards each of your majors, including at least 45 points (three courses) at Stage III.

Entry requirements

For international students

You must have completed a bachelors degree in any discipline from a recognised university (or similar institution).

English language requirements

IELTS (Academic): Overall score of 6.5 with no bands less than 6.0; Internet-based TOEFL (iBT): Overall score of 90 and written score of 21; Paper-based TOEFL: Overall score of 68 and a writing score of 21; Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) or Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE): Overall score of 176 and no bands below 169; Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: Overall score of 58 and no PTE Communicative score below 50; Foundation Certificate in English for Academic Purposes (FCertEAP): Grade of B-; Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB): 85.
