Students in this programme will learn intermediate computing skills to prepare for work or further study. Students will learn skills in project management, web development, branding and design, as well as professional ethical practice, security risks, common hardware and software problems.Certificate in ComputingTutors will support students at every step on their journey and extensive online support is provided. All classes take place in computer labs.Students can enrol full time or there is an online option. With this national qualification, students can improve their job prospects or go onto further study.Students' learning experience takes place within a simulated work project so computing skills can be gained in a real life context. As part of a technology design team, students will learn skills in project management, web development, branding and design. The course also introduces professional ethical practice, security risks and how to fix common hardware and software problems.
