The One Semester Pre-Master’s Programme provides an accelerated pathway into postgraduate study at University of Canterbury for international students who hold a bachelor’s degree but do not meet master’s GPA and/or English entry requirements. Upon completion of the pre-master’s programme, you will be guaranteed entry to a range of master’s degrees across Business, Engineering, Science, Health, Education, and Arts disciplines depending on the subject of your prior bachelor’s degree.The pathway comprises one semester of coursework that prepares you generally for postgraduate study at UC, including courses that develop skills and knowledge in cultural and bicultural awareness, communication, critical thinking, and data analysis.
