The majority of students who have studied this course attempt to pursue careers as careers advisors, taking responsibility for providing information, advice and guidance to help young people make realistic choices about their education and training. There are a number of courses available to those wishing to study a course in careers advice. If you’re wishing to study at undergraduate level, you should have a minimum of 3 A-levels and the course will last a minimum of 3 years.

However, if you already have an undergraduate degree, there is always the option to study this subject at postgraduate level. A postgraduate course will last a minimum of a year, although some courses will be longer. If you wish, there is also the option to study on a part-time basis.

If you’re a non-native speaker of English, then don’t worry! A university will still give your application the same consideration, but you will be expected to sit an IELTS test and score a minimum of 6.0-6.5.
