What will I learn?

Combine global insight, ethical leadership, and real-world financial expertise, empowering you to drive innovation and sustainability in a dynamic, interconnected world.

Professional accreditation

Our ACCA accreditation provides exemptions from some professional examinations.

From financial reporting or investment decisions to global efforts to address sustainability, accountants and financial analysts are pivotal to shaping the future of business.

Our Accounting and Finance (MSc) programme will equip you with the skills necessary to succeed in a fast-paced, globally connected and ever-changing business environment.

You’ll gain the knowledge to drive innovation across various business sectors and to understand the integral role accounting and finance play in promoting a more responsible and sustainable global economy.

Through a blend of real-world applications, industry-relevant tools and interdisciplinary perspectives, you’ll develop the ability to interpret complex financial data, communicate insights effectively and make strategic, and informed, decisions under uncertainty. You’ll explore digital transformation, data analytics, and the ethical challenges presented by automation, sustainability, and globalisation.

You’ll come to understand the importance of ethics and integrity in accounting and finance and reflect on your role in addressing the most significant challenges facing our society and environment. Placements

You’ll benefit from a range of experiential and work-based learning opportunities that allow you to apply theory to practice and develop professional skills.

While the programme doesn’t include a formal placement, some modules enable you to undertake applied research, engage with contemporary case studies, take part in skills development sessions, and undertake exercises that address real-world issues for accounting and finance professionals today.

Where possible, we aim to provide opportunities to meet with industry professionals, allowing you to benefit from work-based learning activities, such as guest lectures and site visits.
