What will I learn?

Their Adult Nursing course adopts a person centred approach to enable you to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to provide safe and effective nursing care. Our Adult Nursing course adopts a person-centered approach to enable you to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to provide safe and effective nursing care.

It will enable you, if successful, to apply to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) to practice as a registered Adult Nurse in a range of diverse health and social care settings. As a student on this course, the experience you gain will allow you to pursue a range of pathways, in addition, you will also have exposure to patients from other areas including mental health and learning disability, as well as children’s nursing. The opportunities you have coming into nursing are vast: working clinically, becoming a manager, working in a research environment, working abroad, and in education.

Entry requirements

For international students

GCSEs at grade C 4 in an Englishbased subject and Maths or equivalent qualifications eg Key Skills Level 2 Learn Direct Level 2 Functional Skills Level 2 Please note we do NOT accept GCSE Short Courses PLUS EITHER 112 UCAS points A Levels grades BBC T Levels Equivalent to 112 UCAS points or higher in Health or Healthcare Science BTEC L3 Extended Diploma or OCR Cambridge L3 Technical Extended Diploma grades DMM CACHE Level 3 Extended Diploma at a B grade Access to HE Diploma 60 credits of which a minimum of 45 must be at Level 3 112 UCAS point equivalence minimum 15 credits at distinction IELTS - Overall Score of 6.0 with no component less than 5.5 TOEFL IBT - Overall Score of 60 with no component score less than 20.
