For international students

Applicants should normally hold a minimum 2:1 undergraduate honours degree (or international equivalent) in a relevant subject such as Computer Science, Cyber Security, Computing, Software Engineering, Computer Networks, or a closely related technical discipline. Applicants with a 2:2 classification, or a degree in a less directly related subject, may still be considered where they can demonstrate relevant professional experience, strong technical capability, or additional qualifications such as a Masters degree, PGDip, or recognised professional certifications. Applicants without a directly relevant academic background may also be considered if they have a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant industry experience in a computing, cyber security, networking, IT infrastructure, or related technical role. We may invite you to an interview to assess your suitability, motivation, communication skills, and readiness for postgraduate study. Interviews are normally conducted by the Programme Leader and may take place online or by telephone where appropriate.

*There may be different IELTS requirements depending on your chosen course.
