Applied Health and Social Care - CertHE

UK

What will I learn?

The CertHE Applied Health and Social Care is a qualification designed to help you build a strong foundation for work or further study. You will learn how health and social care services work together and how to support people in a safe, respectful and person-centred way. You will explore communication, values, ethics, public health, wellbeing and integrated care. The course is designed to support people who may be returning to education, have limited formal qualifications or want to develop their skills while working. You will build confidence in academic study, communication, digital skills and critical thinking. Your learning will connect theory to real health and social care situations. You will look at issues affecting people, families and communities and develop skills that can support your future career. On successful completion, you can use the CertHE as a stepping stone into Level 5 of the BSc Applied Health and Social Care, subject to the relevant progression requirements.
