What will I learn?

Architecture is a dynamic subject involving a wide range of activities, from studio design and model-making, to the study of art, history and culture. It requires imagination alongside practical and technical skills.Central to this course will be the time you will spend in the design studio. You will have access to our extensive studio facilities - including workshop and computer-modelling software - in the award-winning Broadcasting Place, to design and build your projects. This qualification provides exemption from the Architects Registration Board (ARB) and RIBA Part I examination. The Leeds School of Architecture offers a Professional Experience and Development Record (PEDR) Monitoring Service for graduates with BA (Hons) Architecture, Master of Architecture (MArch) or similar degree. The PEDR is an electronic record of your professional experience, development and competency in the practice of architecture and will offer support on the pathway to registration or licensure, primarily with the ARB.**PROFESSIONAL ACCREDITATION**To become a fully-qualified architect takes seven years and we offer the professional body recognition allowing you to continue to further study in this field.
