What will I learn?

Course overview Our extensive research programme unites scientists and clinicians, equipping you with the essential skills needed to contribute to both discovery and translational research in the areas of: cancer, genome biology, rare diseases, bioinformatics and health data science. The programme will provide training in the latest technologies within a highly collaborative environment enabling you to develop your own research project and contribute towards cutting-edge research that will facilitate your development and progression as a scientist. Course highlights By pursuing our MSc by Research you’ll gain high quality research training that will enable you to conduct independent investigative research with confidence and expertise. Studying in the Department of Cancer and Genomic Sciences means joining a vibrant community of 100 postgraduate research students covering a diverse range of topics including: Molecular Cancer Cell Biology Genomics and Genome Biology Genetics and Biology of Rare Diseases Bioinformatics & Health Data Science
