About this course

What will I learn?

Undertake independent civil engineering research addressing major environmental and infrastructure challenges. Investigate themes such as sustainable structures and materials, geotechnical and foundation engineering and water, pollution caused by increased urbanisation, and environmental and coastal engineering. Explore emerging solutions for managing new contaminants, including pharmaceuticals and microplastics in the environment. Develop original research that contributes practical solutions to climate change, sustainability and environmental resilience.
