What will I learn?

This four-year MEng Computer Science with Cyber Security includes the core learning of the BSc Computer Science programmes and provides the professional skills, knowledge and understanding that underpin computer science, enabling you to work in any area of the computing industry. You will then have the opportunity to specialise and gain a greater understanding of the latest thinking in cyber security, including the concepts, principles, technologies and practices for addressing current and emerging cyber security threats and challenges. Key areas of study include: criminology, risk management, law and social sciences. Outstanding facilities and renowned teaching staff will prepare you for work in a wide variety of areas and fields. Entry requirements

For international students

A-levels: A*AA including mathematics (minimum grade A), with a pass in the science Practical where separately endorsed. International Baccalaureate Diploma: Pass with 38 points overall including 19 at Higher Level, with 6 at Higher Level in Mathematics (Analysis and Approaches) or 7 at Higher Level in Mathematics (Applications and Interpretation). RQF BTEC: D in the BTEC National Extended Certificate plus A*A from two A-levels including mathematics (minimum grade A) or D* in the BTEC National Extended Certificate plus AA from two A-levels including mathematics; D*D in the BTEC National Diploma plus A in A-level mathematics or DD in the BTEC National Diploma plus A* in A-level mathematics. Applicants must hold GCSE English language (or GCSE English) (minimum grade 4/C) and mathematics (minimum grade 4/C).
