What will I learn?

Cyber security has recently been a large focus in news headlines and is now recognised as one of the top global risks, with hacking, malicious code, ransomware attacks and data theft among the reasons why it is vital in the design, development, and implementation of IT systems. This is particularly important as the number of online users increases exponentially in emerging economies, more data is created and collected than ever before, and businesses find themselves increasingly reliant on online services, and in need of a strong cyber security culture. As we witness frequent cyber-attacks targeting large organisations across the world, graduates with skills to help prevent and tackle these incidents are now in demand more than ever before. This course provides you with the knowledge to tackle these crimes and play a part in keeping organisations and users safe.
