What will I learn?

This Economics and Business Management degree will help you analyse and understand how global economies work. The course combines economic analysis with a range of management modules from the University of Southampton Business School. You'll gain essential skills for managing a successful business and can maximise your employability with a Bloomberg Markets Concepts qualification.You'll have the freedom to shape your studies by choosing optional modules to suit your interests or career plans.- As part of your first year modules, you'll learn to use Bloomberg trading terminals in our Financial Lab (FinLab). You'll gain essential skills for managing a successful business and can maximise your employability with a Bloomberg Markets Concepts qualification. - You'll also have the freedom to shape your studies by choosing optional modules to suit your interests or career plans. You could also: - Spend a year in employment- Gain vital work experience on a Student Innovation Project- Spend a semester abroad- Gain exemptions from professional accounting bodies and the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries

Entry requirements

For international students

A-levels: AAB including Mathematics (excluding General Studies, Use of Maths and Critical Thinking), with an alternative offer of AABB including A in Maths for students taking four A-levels. International Baccalaureate Diploma: Pass with 36 points overall including 18 at Higher Level, with 6 points from Higher Level Mathematics (Analysis and Approaches or Applications and Interpretation). RQF BTEC: D in the BTEC National Extended Certificate plus AA from two A-levels including Mathematics; DD in the BTEC National Diploma plus A in A-level Mathematics. Applicants must hold GCSE English language (or GCSE English) (minimum grade 4/C).
