What will I learn?

The FdA Teaching and Learning Support is designed for those passionate about making a difference in education by supporting children and young people to achieve their potential. Whether you are already working in a classroom setting or looking to build a career in education, this course develops the knowledge, skills, and confidence to progress into a wide range of roles.\\You will explore key themes in child development, educational theory, inclusive practice, behaviour management, and safeguarding, while reflecting on the professional values and behaviours needed to work effectively in education. Emphasis is placed on linking theory to practice, ensuring your learning is grounded in real-world classroom experiences.\\Work-based learning is integral to the programme, with opportunities to apply your studies through employment or voluntary placements in schools and educational settings. This applied, flexible approach prepares you for progression into senior support roles or further study towards teaching qualifications.
