As a Financial Technology (MSc) student, you’ll study emerging financial technology alongside core finance theory and practice. You’ll learn about investment management, corporate finance, big data and AI application in finance while developing your research skills and programming proficiency for data analysis and machine learning. Exposed to cutting-edge trading simulations in our flagship Trading Room - one of the largest in the UK – you’ll put theory into action, gaining the practical skills required for life at the stock exchange. With the flexibility to tailor your studies through optional modules and a dissertation tackling a real-world financial technology challenge, you’ll graduate ready to innovate, lead, and thrive in both traditional finance and the fast-evolving FinTech landscape.
