What will I learn?

Research in the London Geller College of Hospitality and Tourism (LGCHT) focuses on exploring innovation within the food sector whether it is on product development and nutritional needs, or production process and food waste recycling.As a postgraduate researcher at UWL you will be trained in a range of research methods and theoretical approaches, you will demonstrate great analytical skills, creativity and motivation, and a deep interest in the production and processing of food.With the help of your supervisors, you will undertake rigorous scientific investigation enabling you to generate significant discoveries of relevance to many diverse fields of business and social life as well as academic scholarship.

Entry requirements

For international students

The minimum entry requirements for a research degree are: a good first degree (First Class or Upper Second Class), or equivalent qualification in a relevant field, a masters degree (MA, MSc, MBA or MRes) with Merit, or equivalent postgraduate or research experience. An IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score of 6.5 (with no element under 6.0).
