What will I learn?

Our Infrastructure Engineering and Management MSc degree explores the planning, design, analysis and management frameworks of infrastructure systems. A system-of-systems approach is required for designing new and managing existing infrastructure networks due to their interconnected nature. Understanding the resilience of the built environment against climate change and other external hazards – and how long-term sustainability-driven decision making can assist towards our transition to a net-zero carbon economy – is fundamental towards the safe and efficient functioning of society.Our unique and accredited Infrastructure Engineering MSc provides you with specialist knowledge that can allow you to target niche positions in infrastructure planning, delivery, operations and asset management. You’ll be taught by academics with a track record in infrastructure issues, together with professionals from industry.You will also have the opportunity to attend keynote talks from distinguished speakers and participate in an organisation visit related to the topics you’re studying.

Entry requirements

For international students

A minimum of a 2:2 UK honours degree in civil engineering (or other related engineering, management or science subjects), or equivalent recognised international degree. Applicants will be considered on an individual basis, based on strength in specific subjects related to the MSc Programme and/or professional experience.
