What will I learn?

Marketing is at the heart of any organisation and is the process of understanding consumer journeys, and building and maintaining relationships with them. You explore the fundamentals of strategic marketing in practice, working as a consultant through Teesside Marketing Clinic. If you are a business graduate or a graduate from a related discipline and want to pursue a career in management or marketing, this is the course for you. It will also appeal if you are already working in a marketing environment and looking to develop a management or marketing career, but do not yet have significant experience. The applied element allows you to develop practice-based solutions to real-world problems. You take on a consultancy role, working on projects or internships, identifying opportunities and ideas, before going on to present strategic solutions to the client. You develop personal and professional knowledge, skills and behaviours through a process of self-reflection on your practice.
