What will I learn?

Overseas post-secondary students can also study our BSc in Dental Therapy and Hygiene first and then, if successfully completed, progress on to the LDS.

Once you graduate, we have set up an agreement with Dental Body Corporates for you to undertake Dental Foundation Training via equivalence and obtain a performer number if you wish to work on the NHS or alternatively you can work in private practice.

Entry requirements

For international students

A 2:2 or above at undergraduate level in Dentistry or Oral Health with GDC registration as a Dental Therapists/Hygienists. Diploma in Dental Therapy with GDC registration as a Dental Therapist may be considered. Demonstrate clear and unequivocal interest in the field by written application and structured interview conducted online.
Must have successfully completed 600 certified clinical hours recorded and verified.
Demonstrate at least three years dental training with a statement of comparability from GDC.
