What will I learn?

A degree in Mechatronic Engineering combines mechanical skills, smart electronics, and robotics with control systems to address a range of complex engineering projects, all with a focus on sustainability, working within these critical areas of Engineering could enhance your career prospects and lead to careers with vast earning potential, allowing you to create the life you want in the future.

As a professional mechatronic engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to drive this sustainability agenda forward by getting involved in the design of functional products, from large aircrafts all the way to robotic manufacturing lines.

This integrated Master’s will provide you with a deeper understanding needed to become a key influencer and industry leader overseeing the transformation of a sustainability-focused future. The MEng qualification builds on the BEng course and this course grounds you in the key principles and practices of several disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, electronic, control and computer systems. These academic disciplines are supplemented with the development of your skills in creative thinking and creating practical design solutions, two skills essential to the professional engineer. This course is designed to give you flexibility in your choice of engineering career pathways after graduation.

Entry requirements

For international students

AAB-ABBat A Level . A Levels must include A2 Mathematics (use of Mathematics is not an acceptable A Level) and at least one other Science/Technology subject (or equivalent qualifications) as listed in Additional Information. 136-128UCAS tariff points from a combination of Level 3 qualifications which must include the accepted qualifications as listed in Additional Information. IELTS (Academic) - 6.0 with no lower than 5.5 in any element. TOEFL- 87 overall (Reading 22, Listening 21, Speaking 23, Writing 21)
