Research overviewAre you interested in how modern languages shape our understanding and experiences in the world? Do you have a particular intercultural topic you would like to research?We offer expert supervision in a variety of subjects, allowing you to focus on an area of your choice within your discipline. Follow your intercultural research interests to a deeper level in a department ranked 6th nationally in the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2021.Having completed a masters degree and agreed your research topic with a supervisor, you will continue your research with a PhD exploring themes from our wide field of specialisms.
