About this course

What will I learn?

Trauma and orthopaedics is one of the major growing areas in grant income within the School of Medicine and Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. We are a strong collaborative group with interests across the breadth of trauma and orthopaedics, injury and recovery. We have a thematic, translational and applied research focus. All of our research targets musculoskeletal health and recovery. Be that following traumatic injury, following infection or as part of degenerative or inflammatory processes. Our research programmes are high impact influencing government policy, NICE guidance and the delivery of healthcare both in the UK and overseas.
