What will I learn?

This course will equip you to deliver specialist, person-centred care in the growing field of continuing healthcare.You’ll learn how to assess and arrange ongoing health and social care for individuals with significant and long-term needs arising from disability, accident or illness.You’ll develop the skills required to work effectively with people with complex needs, their families, and multi-professional teams across a range of health and social care settings. We’ll also explore the current legislation underpinning continuing healthcare.You’ll build on your existing knowledge, skills and experience through online lectures, tutorials and assignments, while working in a continuing healthcare setting where you can apply your learning directly to practice.
